Hawaiian Lomi Lomi

Hawaiian Lomi Lomi Massage – Akin to the Kahuna, it is a traditional Hawaiian technique, and the Swedish equivalent of the two. It includes under-body work, with long rhythmical sweeping moves (performed with the whole forearm as well as the hands, often both under and over the body at the same time, the sensation often likened to a firm fluid caress. Because of this, the massage is extremely nurturing and loving in effect, helping to heal much distress held within the body during past emotional and psychological traumas. It is said to be able to release suppressed emotions held within the cellular memory of the body, and can therefore provide an environment for very deep healing on many levels for this reason.

Treatments can be either 60 or 90 minutes in duration.
