Hahana Hot Stone

Hahana Hot Stone – In this treatment, smooth volcanic pebble shaped rocks are used to perform a whole body relaxation massage.

Placement of stones warm stressed and tense areas such as those in the lower back and the upper back and shoulders, while the therapist uses ‘travelling’ smaller stones in the hands, rhythmically flowing over the body, using long encompassing strokes, warming and soothing each muscle, working out tension while soothing with the penetrating warmth of the stones.

This technique is very similar to Hawaiian massage, with the additional use of the stones.
